Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.Ģ. I used my fix for the wall with trimmed border in this house but, because of the particular patterns used, it’s not essential.ġ.Although it looks more like a lighting problem, it can easily be fixed in CASt by copying the stone across from one of the other sections. The piece of half-wall nearest to the full-height wall (between the kitchen and dining areas) has an annoying habit of changing colour now and again, at least in my game.If this is a problem for you, try deleting some of the plants in the garden. The house plays well but switching between live and build/buy modes can be slow on less powerful computers (like my old one ).I used the adult’s and child’s wellies from Around the Sims 3’s Rainy Day set (free content) in the porch. There are a few objects from Monte Vista (plants) and Sunlit Tides (curtain, flowers, sauna and massage table). There are also several items from the Bayside Kitchen Set. Other climbing plants could also be substituted.īarnacle Bay and the Nautical Living Set were used extensively and are probably required content for the furnished house. K2 Ivy from the discontinued Renault set (or you could replace it with the Ivy Tower from the Toyota set if you have that). There are CC alternatives but they’re floor-standing rather than wall-mounted. Slick Surfboard Sculpture from the discontinued Toyota Prius set. There’s quite a lot from High End Loft, Outdoor Living, Town Life and Master Suite, with a single décor object from Fast Lane. Showtime is somewhere in between – replacing the content would be a bit of a pain but doable. World Adventures, Late Night, Pets and Supernatural are optional – there are a few objects from each of these expansions but they could be replaced pretty easily or just omitted. There’s also a fair amount of stuff from Ambitions, Generations and University Life. Seasons and Island Paradise were used extensively. The house has a living room, kitchen-diner, study and shower room on the ground floor, with five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a nursery upstairs. It was originally built for 432 Tidal Terrace in Barnacle Bay but also fits well into several other worlds. The layout’s stayed much the same throughout but the décor has changed, with the nautical/seaside theme becoming more pronounced over time as I’ve acquired more expansions and store content. It’s been rebuilt twice since and lived in by several families of Sims. ![]() This is very much a companion piece to the Anchor Inn, although the original version of the house predated the pub by a couple of years.
